Attracting ad-ttention


‌These days, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ is attracting a lot of ad-ttention.

 ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½’s unique new advertising campaign, "Go ahead. Get skilled." and won three accolades in the 2013 , an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals.

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ won the Marcom Platinum Award for photography and advertising category."There were more than 6,500 entries from around the world," says Catherine Clement, executive director, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ marketing and outreach. "Our work was all done in-house on small budgets. Yet we were competing against multi-million dollar ad agencies, PR firms, design shops, and even marketing departments in Fortune 500 companies. We were so proud to learn ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ won three awards."

MarcCom’s prestigious Platinum Award is presented to entries judged to be among the most outstanding in the competition, recognized for excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness.

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ won Marcom Gold Award for  website redesign and transit ad campaign categories.

‌The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm.

‌The concept and design for the "Go ahead. Get skilled." ad campaign was completed in-house by ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s team of marketing professionals. Photography was done by Claudette Carracedo. These ads are currently running in newspapers, on transit and in movie theatres.

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s new modern, user-friendly website was unveiled in July 2013, the result of more than a year of planning, research, design and development, also completed in-house by ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s marketing and communications staff.
