It is regarded as the access point to the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ community for new students, and immigrants, and as the natural centre of the student life and community.

During this time, the SUÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ will have continued its role as a champion for students’ rights and grown to become a leader for environmentally sustainable practises in the post-secondary systems.

The Students’ Union of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ was formed in 1974 to become the representative body of 13,000 students at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½.
As a part of caring about the well-being of its membership, the SUÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ is connected to the heart of campus life, providing students with access to recreation, events, and opportunities to contribute to the community. A member of the and an advocate for students rights, the SUÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ has successfully lobbied for, and implemented a standardized and fair-priced Universal Transit Pass for all Metro Vancouver students.
The SUÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ also provides its students with a tailored, high-quality that meets the needs of its diverse constituency.
