ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ serves DTES community with Christmas in January

The holiday season may be over, but on Saturday, January 23, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ (ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½) and the Salvation Army gave a gift to their neighbours in the Downtown Eastside – a Christmas lunch with all the fixings. Food was prepared by ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s culinary arts chef instructors and students with all of the products donated by .

Over 70 volunteers came out to help, including 40 ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ students working inside  kitchen. With 60 turkeys cooked for the event, over 1000 people from the community were able to enjoy a warm post-poliday meal.
