Welcome to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, new and returning students! We're very excited to start on-campus classes again this fall, and even more so to see you in person. Keep reading for important information about safety, support, and services for your upcoming school year.

COVID-19 vaccinations
We are thrilled to continue in-person learning this fall! As a friendly reminder, please conduct your daily health checks before coming to campus, stay home if you feel unwell, ensure proper hand-washing hygiene, and get your vaccinations and booster shots. As per current B.C. public health orders, wearing a mask is a personal choice and we encourage everyone to act respectfully.

Student rights and responsibilities
ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ expects students to conduct themselves responsibly and respectfully. As such, students are required to be familiar with academic and non-academic policies. Universal washroom codes
Know before you go! As a part of a larger accessibility project, all washrooms at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ that currently have key codes have been re-coded. LEARN MORE >

Free menstrual products are available in all our universal washrooms. LEARN MORE >
Prayer space and breastfeeding room have moved
The Broadway campus prayer space and breastfeeding room have moved.
- The prayer room is now located in building A, room 2755.
- Effective Sept. 6, the breastfeeding room will move to building B, room 2214.
Please enter key code "2020#" to access these rooms.
STUDENT SUPPORT
Services for students
ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ offers many support services to help you during studies. All services are available and will be offered in person, by phone, or online.

Use the student portal to look up grades, order transcripts, download tax forms, receive campus news and alerts, and access your ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ student email.
If it's your first time logging in, your initial password will use your birthday in this format: ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½MMDDYY# ("ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½" plus your birthday (MMDDYY) plus "#").
E.g. if your birthday is January 30, 1995, your initial temporary password will be ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½013095#. Following your first login, you will be prompted to create a new, secure password.
Check your ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ email regularly for important college notifications and communications from your instructors. You can also forward your ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ email to your personal email account. LOGIN HELP >
Indigenous Gathering Spaces are open
ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½’s Indigenous Gathering Spaces promote cultural safety and belonging while offering the use of computers, printers, kitchenettes, and casual meeting areas. Our Downtown and Broadway Gathering Spaces are pleased to be open once again to support Indigenous learners and guests.
International students – stay connected
If you are an international student at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, the International Education (IE) office is available for one-on-one advising to support you in person or on Zoom.
International advisors can share information about studying at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, provide immigration resources, and connect you with available resources. Be sure to also for regular updates.
SUÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Fall 2022 Board of Directors elections
Do you want to make a difference on campus? Gain experience? Become a leader?
Run in the Board of Directors elections this September and help make ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ a better place for all students. We are looking for leaders who want to represent the collective voice of students at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ - advocating for change, planning events, and creating a campus community. Nominations open Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Get a smart start at our Learning Centres
ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s offer free face-to-face and online tutoring, academic coaching, and many academic, study and career resources.
Workshops – Zoom and Moodle: the Learning Centre is hosting virtual workshops in August and September to help you learn more about these important tools.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
On this day, we commemorate the history and legacy of residential schools, and honours Indigenous survivors, families, and communities. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ closed.
