Former Youth in Care Tuition Waiver

Young people leaving foster care now have access to free tuition. 

This funding program waives tuition fees to former youth in care attending post-secondary.

Who can apply?

Students must be:

  • Living in British Columbia
  • Aged between 19 to 26 years (inclusive)
  • Have been in care for at least 24 months

How to apply?

  1. Apply to your program of choice at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½
  2. Download and complete the , and
  3. Bring the complete form to the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Financial Aid office
